The working group on energy supply of the Interdepartmental Center under the coordination headquarters, established with the aim of a centralized solution of the problems in the Azerbaijani territories freed from Armenian occupation [in the 2020 second Karabakh war], held a new meeting on October 1, Trend reports.
During the meeting, which was attended by representatives of the relevant government agencies that are part of the working group, information was provided on the progress of the reconstruction of electrical installations in the liberated territories, the restoration the necessary infrastructure and the implementation of the decisions taken at the previous meeting.
It was noted that the coordination of the work currently carried out and planned in the liberated territories by the relevant agencies, the coordinated activities and the increase in the intensity of the information exchange are among the important issues for the completion in the planned work deadlines.
In the framework of the meeting, the report on âEco-innovation and eco-industrial parksâ prepared by the Research Center on Sustainable Development and Green Economy was presented in honor of Nizami Ganjavi of the Azerbaijan State Economic University. The report covering the economic, environmental and social benefits – reduction of waste and energy consumption, contained information on the experience of different countries in creating more environmentally friendly industrial parks.
During the meeting, it was also noted that every week, a follow-up of the works carried out to supply electricity and heat to the strategic installations of the city of Shusha is carried out.
Then, a presentation was made on the analysis of the data obtained following regular on-site inspections, and the current situation with the installation of boiler rooms, electrical substations, heating systems in neighborhoods and buildings, as well as the water supply to the boiler rooms has been taken into consideration.
Participants held discussions on the construction of the Khudaferin and Giz Galasi hydropower plants in Jabrayil district.
A report on the connection and information exchange with the Karabakh Digital Geographic Information System of the State Committee on Property Matters under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan was also discussed.
It was noted that most of the relevant government bodies that make up the working group are fully connected to this system.
The coordination headquarters, created by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on November 24, 2020, is headed by the head of the presidential administration Samir Nureyev.
